Wallingtonis an existing three storey building located on the northern side of Stanley Park in Sutton. The site consists of a large four storey residential building which currently provides extra-care housing with 43 one-bedroom units. The site includes an associated parking area to the north east which wraps around the adjoining property to the east and provides direct vehicle access from Shortfield.

Hoban Design were integral to the development of the brief which compromises of a series of external and internal alterations. At this site, proposed works include two extensions to the rear of the site, new day centre to the north-east and new three storey residential accommodation in place of the existing two storey day room to the west. The new proposals provide a net increase of 21 new flats consisting of a mix of 1B1P and 1B2P units with 15 existing bays retained, along with 1No. minibus parking space and an ambulance space for parking.

Hoban Design are please to announce that planning permission was granted for this development in early 2020. The project is now into the stages of detailed design and we endeavour to have the project on site in late 2020.
