A contemporary new build house of approximately 4,500 sq.ft. located within a conservation area at the heart of Wimbledon Village. The proposal replaces a dilapidated 1940s dwelling and draws upon traditional forms and materials, including a pitched roof, to sit comfortably within its surroundings.
The new house is carefully re-oriented to improve site efficiency, enhance passive solar gain, and deliver improved sustainability performance, while maintaining a strong relationship with the established streetscape.
