Chelsea Penthouse:
Our client, a prominent American international businessman with extensive MiddleEastern contacts, expressed a desire for an exquisite entertaining space within thechallenging layout of a D-shaped room. Leading the design team, Gary Hobanskilfullyinterpreted and sketched the client’s requirements, incorporating an ArtDeco-inspired cabinet. Linley Interiors was commissioned to handle the fabricationdrawings and workshop drawings, resulting in an opulent room perfectly suited forhosting guests. To complete the installation, a curved couch reminiscent of the iconicLas Vegas imagery from the 1950s was meticulously recreated.

Wimbledon Parkside:
Tasked with designing a wine display cabinetry for a discerning wine enthusiast,Hoban Design undertook the challenge of creating a visually striking yet fullyclimate-controlled storage solution, conveniently accessible from the main kitchen. The project posed additional difficulties as the cabinetry needed to accommodate180 bottles while maintaining optimal humidity and climate conditions for reds, whites, and champagnes within a cramped corridor.Consequently, significant structural modifications were implemented to create spacefor the cabinets. The design was meticulously crafted to reflect the client’s uniqueaesthetic preferences, incorporating large backlit onyx slabs sourced from Italy, floating staggered display shelving, and an elegant combination of santos rosewoodwith brass trims. To enhance functionality, a hidden drawer was ingeniouslyincorporated beneath the central plinth, providing storage for a customized openingand tasting set. Notably, the Linley Wine waiter’s friend, engraved and gilded withthe client’s name, as well as the sommelier’s tastevin and corkscrew from AspreyJewellers (@aspreylondon), were similarly personalized. Furthermore, a LinleySabatier Champagne Sable was provided, all seamlessly integrated into ameticulously crafted velvet shadow drawer. The cabinetry was accompanied by amatching boot-room nook, completing the cohesive design.

Wimbledon Village:
Once again, Hoban Design was entrusted with the comprehensive transformation ofanother American client’s home, a residence they had occupied for a decade. GaryHoban took charge of the design process, overseeing the creation of three distinctbeverage spaces featuring ice fridges, chillers, and storage facilities.
