This mid-twentieth century home located in Kingston-upon-Thames has been altered extensively over the past 30 years to create a warren of rooms unsuitable for the client’s young family.
Hoban Design have developed a design to extensively alter the existing house, to create an open plan kitchen/breakfast area as the central social hub of the home. Around this, the ancillary spaces and reception spaces are contained.
Uniquely, the ground floor takes advantage of a secluded courtyard space which acts an exterior extra reception space. Upstairs, a new master suite complete with dressing room and bathroom is created with individually tailored children’s bedroom suites.
